Duchess Satin and French Lace

This gown went off to Ledbury in Herefordshire for the Wedding last week of Trisha and James.
I do hope some photos will be sent to me soon. In the mean time here are a few of my studio shots.
This gown was made from a Light Ivory Duchess Satin  and French lace. The under bodice was boned  with an overlay of lace that buttoned down the back. There seems to be a love of bows this season which complimented the back of this gown perfectly. The skirt was A line in shape falling into a lovely long train. This gown held it shape well as the Duchess Satin was quite a heavy weight which was supported by quite a few layers of net petticoat.
